Our Extra Thick Spiral Sewn Buffing Wheels are 80 ply to last longer than traditional buffing wheels and provide a larger surface area to polish with. Includes: (2) Extra Thick Spiral Sewn buffing wheels | Diameters: 8” | Holes: 5/8” | Thickness: 1” | Ply counts: 80 | 100% cotton. About 50% thicker than regular buffing wheels, polishing larger areas and having an extended lifespan. Great for cutting and course buffing. The buffing wheel plys are spiral sewn so greater pressure can be applied when polishing. This will easily allow for faster cutting. Can be used with any polishing compound. To apply polishing compounds, simply spin the buffing wheel on a motor or drill and gently press the compound to the wheel. The heat and friction of the spinning wheel will be enough to transfer a small amount of the compound onto the wheel for polishing.
